Gear machining FAQ's
Spur/helical gears, spline & gear shafts, worm shafts & worm wheels, timing wheels, sprockets, idlers, rack & pinion, etc.
We are generally able to produce gears within Class 4 accuracy.
Gear forming requires tools of the appropriate modulus. We have general integer tools, special moduli require custom-made tools.
Spline shafts and spline bushings can achieve a mating clearance of 0.003, using wire-cut spline bushings and ground spline shafts.
