Plastics CNC Machining
Plastics can be used as engineering materials and plastics that replace metals in the manufacture of machine parts, etc. Engineering plastics have excellent overall performance, rigidity, small creep, high mechanical strength, good heat resistance, good electrical insulation, and can be used in harsher chemical and physical environments for a long time.
Material Selection Guide
ABS CNC machining
ABS is one of the most common thermoplastic materials, offering good mechanical properties, excellent impact strength, high heat resistance and good machinability.
PU polyurethane CNC machining
Polyurethane rigid polyurethane plastics, soft polyurethane plastics, polyurethane elastomers and many other forms, and are divided into two categories: thermoplastic and thermosetting.
Nylon CNC machining
Nylon materials are generally available in PA6, PA66 and PA12, which can also be injection moulded in addition to CNC machining.
PVC CNC machining
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is extremely versatile and has good processing properties, low manufacturing costs, corrosion resistance, insulation and other good features.
PEEK CNC machining
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) resin is a special engineering plastic with excellent properties such as high temperature resistance to 260 degrees, chemical resistance, flame retardancy and abrasion resistance.
PTFE CNC machining
PTFE is acid and alkali resistant, resistant to various organic solvents and insoluble in almost all solvents.
PMMA CNC machining
Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is divided into four kinds of colourless transparent, coloured transparent, pearlescent, embossed plexiglass.
POM CNC machining
POM has a very low coefficient of friction and very good geometrical stability, making it particularly suitable for making gears and bearings.

SPP Industry Ltd.
In the 1990s, SPP Industry Ltd was one of the first manufacturers to establish CNC machining in China. The company has now established five major machine parks in China, with significant achievements in the areas of 5-axis machining, precision grinding & honing, gear machining, large parts machining, custom tungsten carbide and new material development respectively.
